Chimney Sweep Bookings
It is recommended you sweep your chimney once a year.
Please note that latest regulations state that all fires should have a working carbon monoxide alarm.
Please have yours installed before we sweep, or tick the relevant box on the booking form, and we will fit one for you.

Early morning sweep arriving
between 7:30am and 9:00am
For people who need to get on with their day - We will arrive before 9am and be finished before 10am. Choose your town from the list below (Limited Availability)

For customers who can get home before 5pm.
We will arrive after 5pm and be finished before 7:30pm

For customers who find it hard to be at home during the week. 2 hour windows available. Sat / Sun.
Need a Quote?
For our other chimney sweeping services, we will need to quote first so email us to arrange a free visit (within 20 miles of Hitchin). If you are able to email a photo of the problem, we may not need to visit.
If your sweep is urgent then we will try to fit you in sooner if we can. We will do our best to rearrange our diary and find you an appointment in the next few days.
Get in touch if, for example; your carbon monoxide alarm is constantly triggering; you have a bird trapped in the chimney; you have smoke coming back into the room; you have no heating in the house because your woodburner/ gas fire is failing or unsafe.
Discounts & Payment
ONLINE DISCOUNT : Save £3 on your booking by entering this code - WEB2024 - Coupon can be used once per customer and is applied per customer and not per chimney sweep. Additional sweeps booked online are discounted by £1 each. Please do not enter any sweeps at different addresses to your booking, as this causes confusion and the second address will not recieve the booking discount. This offer expires 31st August 2025
OFFLINE DISCOUNT : Save ON MULTIPLE SWEEPS - 2% to 10% depending on number of sweeps at the same address or postcode, booked at the same time. Email to book in a sweep for yourself and your neighbours to save money and reduce wasted travelling.
Payments accepted: Online Card Payment, Bank Transfer, Cash & Cheque. Payment is expected on the day that the work is completed. Interest will be charged for late payment.
** Customers with woodburners or multifuel stoves that do not meet building regulations **
Please note that if your wood burner does not have adequate access to allow us to sweep the chimney, such as a sweeping hatch or removable baffle plate inside the stove we may not have enough time to sweep your chimney for you and will have to declare it unsafe to use. You will be charged £40 for the visit and will receive a certificate outlining the issues encountered. A quote for remedial works will be provided and the £40 refunded should you choose to go ahead with the quote.
